1, What are you most proud of about yourself?
That I dare where others hesitate and that I see opportunities instead of getting stuck on problems.
2, What qualities are you inspired by in others?
Action, compassion and a twinkle in the eye.
3, Who inspires you? Why?
It sounds cliché, but I am inspired by all people who decide to act on their convictions, as long as it doesn't make the world worse. It could be starting a business, changing careers in mid-life or training hard for a sporting goal. Inspiration is everywhere!
Of course, a clue can also be found in the name of my company. Nobel Laureate Wangari Maathai, who started the Green Belt Movement, is a very good example.
4, What is everyday luxury for you?
Time to sit in a soft armchair at home in the newly cleaned house in Enskede with a glass of bubbly in hand, the children are sleeping early, the training is done and the birds are chirping from the perfectly maintained garden. No cell phone or computer within reach. Note that this hasn't happened yet. Ever.
5, What is your best tip for getting through the day? Do you have a really good life hack?
Don't see life as a puzzle, see it as a canvas. It doesn't work if the pieces only fit in a certain way and within a certain framework. Paint as you like. Eat takeaway on a Monday if you want to, let the kids fall asleep on the sofa if you need to, exercise at home on the living room floor while your spouse is away, to make ends meet. See your possibilities, not what everyone else is doing.
6, What is your best/most important garment in your everyday life?
For spring, it's been a pair of tight black jeans, a pair of white sneakers, a white shirt and a gray plaid jacket. With different jackets, scarves, accessories and hairstyling, it's easy to vary and quick to fix depending on the occasion.
