WE CARE ABOUT YOUR NORRSKEN JACKET
We want your jacket to have a long life and keep its best shape! To make it easier for you, we've put together our top three tips for taking the best care of your jacket:
Washing: We recommend washing our jackets as little as possible as they wear out the material, air the jacket to freshen it up and for stains we recommend spot treating with a wet cloth.
Storage: Hang the jacket in a cool and dry environment during the seasons when it is not used for best results in the future.
Repair: We recommend always taking the jacket to a tailor if it needs repair.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width="1/4″][vc_column_text]
WE TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Our planet is our responsibility. We truly believe that everyone can make a difference on this issue, and we want to contribute by highlighting our corporate social responsibility as one of our most important factors. We bring this focus to all our daily decisions, big and small! We want a strong and sustainable business model, where environmental impact is taken into account.
It is natural for us to follow the voluntary international cooperation network. UN:s supplier code. This was launched to support the participation of both the private sector and social actors in promoting corporate responsibility, social and environmental principles to meet the challenges of globalization.

WE CARE ABOUT PEOPLE
We want to give back to the amazing people around us who inspire every day. We do this by collecting their stories and sharing them so that they spread. We know that we have several true NORRSKEN around us that help people around them to grow, develop and shine.
It could be our children's hockey coach, a teacher, a mother, a friend or just that cashier who always gives everyone extra attention and warmth.
Do you have a NORRSKEN that you would like us to interview and share? Don't hesitate to contact us so we can include her in future articles!

SUSTAINABLE COLLECTIONS
In the fashion industry, a lot of it is about constantly developing new products, models and colors, which often leads to a lot of waste and products have to be "sold out". Instead, we try to develop collections that will last all year round. In the cases where we produce "warmer" "colder" jackets, we try to refine the ones we already have instead of replacing models. We may add a color or update a detail but basically the product is the same and timeless. We also always sell out of each model, we don't let anything go to waste but sell until the shelf is empty. This is important for us to communicate because it is part of our vision to produce sustainable clothing.

THE DOWN WE USE
We strongly oppose the use of down from birds that are force-fed and/or plucked alive. The down used in our garments is a by-product of the food industry and is purchased from approved suppliers. We have clear agreements with our suppliers about this and follow up regularly.
What is RDS down?
The Responsible Down Standard is an independent and voluntary global standard that companies can choose to certify and connect their products to, even if there is no legislation requiring it. The RDS was developed over three years with the help of animal welfare groups, industry experts, brands and retailers. The standard has been awarded for best practice in animal welfare.
The RDS aims to ensure that down and feathers come from animals that have not suffered unnecessary harm. Those behind the standard hope that it will be used to influence the down and feather industry. To respect the humane treatment of ducks and geese. The standard gives companies and consumers a tool to know what is in their products.
