Being out in nature is one of our absolute favorite activities here at Norrsken. Therefore, we want to take the opportunity to share some of Sweden's most beautiful hiking trails, so that you also get the chance to enjoy them and spend more time in nature!
Österlenleden, Skåne
Österlen in Skåne is a wonderfully beautiful place, with over 100 kilometers of hiking starting in Ystad. It offers a beautiful and varied nature, with sea and culture. Here you can choose whether you want to go on a day trip with a little easier or tougher terrain.
Edsåsdalen, south of Åre
Edsåsdalen, south of Åre, has many shorter stages to choose from that suit both families and more experienced hikers. There are slightly flatter stretches but also mountain peaks to climb. Here you are offered a calm and pleasant atmosphere.
Åkulla beech forests, Hallandsleden route
In Halland you can find Åkulla's magical beech forests. There are several marked short walks through nature reserves and alongside beautiful lakes. For those who feel ready for a challenge, the Hallandsleden trail also passes by with its longer hikes.
Sörmlandsleden, Stockholm
If you are in Stockholm, you can easily get to Sörmlandsleden by public transport or car, there is everything for the perfect day hike. Sörmlandsleden offers a lot of different types of routes to choose from, both through beautiful wilderness and lovely urban environments.
Siljansleden, Dalarna
If you want to start from Dalarna, there is the Siljan Trail, which runs through Leksand, Orsa, Rättvik and Mora. Here it is easy to jump on the trail when it suits you and adapt it to how far you want to go. Here you are offered varied nature with lakes, old shepherd's paths and coniferous forest.
