NORRSKEN NO 23 SABINA ENGQVIST
1, What are you most proud of yourself?
I am proud of my ability to motivate others to learn, to live, and to develop, something that I often get a receipt for when I work as a teacher. I am also proud of myself when it comes to the ability to be open to my own development and my own successes on that front.
2, What qualities are you inspired by in others?
I am inspired by creative people, who want to change and who have the energy to make their voices heard, and have their own stories to tell.
3, Who inspires you and why?
Buck Brannaman inspires me, and as the recognized skilled horseman he is, I am deeply impressed by his ability to connect communication with horses to open doors to reflect himself in the process, and to realize that just about everything requires work.
4, What is an everyday luxury for you?
Everyday luxury for me is when I am with my horses, when I get to take care of them and when I ride out into the woods (which is generally my favorite place).
5, What is your best advice for getting your everyday life together? Do you have a really good life hack?
For me, it is a must to plan and remember to create time for what you want to do. It’s easy to say that you do not have time, but if you want to do something, you can do it. Full-time job, farm, three children, two horses, and a dog – if I want a workout, I make sure to create time for it. If I want to have time to ride five times a week, I make sure to take the time to do so. Mindset and planning.
6, What is your best/most important clothing piece in your everyday life?
I could not do without my jeans and boots, but I also love my hats and jackets which are probably my favorites – my personal style combined with how I live is probably what underlines it all.
7, Wich is your favorite Norrsken jacket?
I LOVE my fleece jacket, Inviken.
